How It Works
- Same puzzle for everyone: Each daily challenge uses a deterministic seed based on today's date. This means every player who plays "2048 Daily" on August 20th gets the exact same starting board.
- Build your streak: Complete at least one daily challenge each day to increase your streak. Miss a day, and your streak resets. The goal is consistency, not perfection.
- Compete with friends: Share your daily challenge link with friends. They'll get the same puzzle you did, so you can compare scores and see who's the best.
- Track your progress: Your personal best scores and streak are saved locally. Come back tomorrow for a fresh challenge!

What is the Daily Puzzle Challenge?
The Daily Puzzle Challenge gives you a new seeded puzzle every day for each of our games. The seed is based on today's date, so every player gets the exact same puzzle. This creates a fair playing field where you can compare scores and compete with friends.
How does the streak system work?
Your streak counts consecutive days of completing at least one daily challenge. Play any game's daily mode today, and your streak increases by 1. Miss a day, and the streak resets to 0. The goal is to build the longest streak possible by playing a little every day.
Can I replay today's daily challenge?
Yes! You can replay today's daily challenge as many times as you want. The puzzle remains the same throughout the day. Your best score counts toward your personal record, and each completion builds your streak.
Are daily challenges different from regular games?
The gameplay is identical, but daily challenges use a deterministic seed based on the date. This means every player gets the same board/level configuration for that day. Regular games are randomized each time you play.
How do I share my daily challenge results?
After completing a daily challenge, you'll see a special completion modal with your streak count. Click "Share Result" to download a shareable card image showing your score and streak. You can also click "Challenge a Friend" to copy a link that lets friends play the same daily puzzle.
