About Funnyzz
Funnyzz is an independent browser-based puzzle game site built for a few minutes of calm focus. No accounts, no installs, no feeds to scroll — just a short puzzle you can play in a spare moment and put down again. We currently host classic puzzle and casual games, including 2048, Minesweeper, Sudoku, Snake, Connect Four, Memory Match, Color Match, Word Search, Block Drop, Tic-Tac-Toe, Sliding Puzzle, and Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe.
Every game launches directly in your web browser, works on desktop and mobile, and requires zero downloads or sign-ups. Whether you have two minutes between meetings or twenty minutes on a Sunday afternoon, you can pick a game, play, and leave — no pressure, no notifications pulling you back in.
Our Mission
We built Funnyzz because most browser game portals have become cluttered with pop-ups, endless video ads, and low-quality titles. We wanted the opposite: a small, focused collection of games that respect your time and your privacy. Our goal is simple — be the place people visit when they want a quick mental break, not a dopamine trap.
We believe puzzles are good for you. They exercise logic, memory, pattern recognition, and spatial reasoning. They lower stress and help you refocus. But the benefits only stick when the experience is pleasant. That is why we obsess over load times, keyboard shortcuts, and clean interfaces rather than adding more features nobody asked for.
What We Believe
- Small and calm. A focused set of carefully polished puzzles beats an endless, overwhelming catalog. We would rather ship ten excellent games than a hundred mediocre ones.
- Privacy-friendly by default. We do not ask who you are to play. Your best scores live in your own browser's
localStorage, not on our servers. You can clear them any time by wiping your browser data. - Fast and lightweight. The site is plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No React, no Angular, no heavy frameworks. Pages load in under a second even on a slow mobile connection.
- Long-term and steady. We are building this slowly and deliberately. We are not chasing a viral spike. The site will still be here in five years, with the same games, the same URL, and the same zero-login policy.
- Accessible to everyone. Every game supports keyboard controls, most support touch, and we respect the
prefers-reduced-motionaccessibility preference. Puzzle games should be for everyone, not just people with fast hands.
How It Is Built
Every game is hand-written in vanilla JavaScript, with no third-party game engines. This keeps load times low and makes the code easy to audit. If you are curious how a feature works, you can open your browser's developer tools and read the source directly.
The site itself is deployed on Cloudflare Pages, which serves static files from edge locations around the world. Multiplayer room features (see Rooms) use a lightweight Cloudflare Workers backend for room discovery and leaderboards. No login is required, and no personal data is collected to play.
We use a minimal set of third-party services, all disclosed in our Privacy Policy:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous page-view and event tracking so we know which guides are useful.
- Google AdSense — unobtrusive display ads that help fund hosting and development.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, DDoS protection, and Workers-based multiplayer rooms.
We do not run trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or social-media pixels. Your browsing on Funnyzz is your own.
Our Editorial Process
Every game on Funnyzz is built or adapted by our editorial team, who are themselves lifelong puzzle players. Each game goes through three stages before it goes live:
- Playtesting. A game is played at least 50 times across desktop and mobile before we publish it. We check for bugs, balance issues, and unclear controls.
- Guide review. Each game ships with a strategy guide written by a human editor. Guides are fact-checked against the actual game code — if a feature exists in the game, it must be documented in the guide, and vice versa.
- Performance audit. We run Lighthouse audits on every release. Pages must score above 90 on Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO before they go live.
We use AI tools to assist with research and first drafts, but every piece of content is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human member of our team. We disclose this because transparency builds trust.
Quality Standards
We hold ourselves to four standards for every piece of content on the site:
- Accuracy. Strategy guides describe the real game, not a theoretical version. If a game adds a new feature, the guide is updated to cover it.
- Freshness. We revisit older guides quarterly to make sure screenshots, rules, and tips still match the current version of each game.
- Usefulness. Every section of a guide must answer a real question a player would ask. We cut fluff, filler, and keyword-stuffed paragraphs.
- Originality. Our guides are written from experience playing the games, not copied or paraphrased from other sites.
The Funnyzz Games
Our library currently includes thirteen games, grouped by type:
- Number & logic puzzles: 2048, Sudoku.
- Word & memory games: Word Search, Memory Match, Color Match.
- Strategy & board games: Connect Four, Tic-Tac-Toe, Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe.
- Arcade & action: Snake, Block Drop.

Each game includes a statistics panel (games played, win rate, average time or score), a local leaderboard (Top 10 stored in your browser), keyboard shortcuts, undo support where applicable, a daily challenge mode, and multiplayer rooms for head-to-head play.
Strategy Guides
Beyond the games themselves, we publish in-depth strategy guides covering everything from beginner basics to expert-level techniques. We have more than 70 guides across topics like:
- How-to-play primers for each game.
- Advanced strategy deep-dives (for example, Minesweeper pattern recognition, 2048 monotone grids, and Connect Four trap setups).
- Cognitive-training topics like how matching games improve memory, improving concentration, and brain games for seniors.
- Logic-puzzle series covering Kakuro, KenKen, Nurikabe, Heyawake, Akari, Hashiwokakero, and more.
Contact & Feedback
We read every piece of feedback that comes in. If you find a bug, have a game suggestion, or want to tell us what you like or dislike about a guide, please get in touch:
- Email: [email protected]
- Contact form: /contact
We typically respond within two business days. If you are reporting a bug, please include the game name, your browser, and a short description of what happened — that helps us fix it quickly.
Supporting Funnyzz
Funnyzz is self-funded. Hosting and development costs are covered by a combination of modest AdSense revenue and our own time. The best way to support us is to play, share the site with a friend, and let us know what you think. If you write about one of our games or link to a guide, we would love to hear about it.
Thank you for visiting. We hope you play with zest.
